The regular Larks business meeting was held  Feb 10th, 2008.  The meeting was called to order by President Gregg Nettles who then lead in the Pledge of Allegiance.  Greg began the meeting by publicly thanking Jude Fontenot for over two years of service to our club as President.

            Mike Rowe gave the treasurers report of the club. He has been revamping our website at : www.larksrc.org . Mike asked for input from all club members as to possible content on the site. Any and all suggestions should be emailed to amalarks@gmail.com . Sal Vezzi made a motion to accept the treasurers report. It was seconded by Matt and passed the club vote.

            The minutes of the Jan meeting were approved as read.

Mike Rowe stated he would like to see us hold another Family Day.

 Sonny Stokeld reminded us the septic system needs periodic maintence such as adding chlorine tablets

Greg Nettles thanked all those who came out for the work day held Sat Feb 9^th. A lot of painting and cleaning was accomplished. The entire facility looks fresher. Another  worek day was scheduled for Feb 16^th. Greg announced that there would be NO Flying that day.

Sal Vezzi told everyone that he had priced materials to make 10 new work tables. He said it would be all metal frames and have an approximate cost of $400.00 greg nettles made a motion to authorize Sal to acquire ther materials. Hank Thomas seconded the motion. Mike Rowe asked a question about what the material actually was and after some discussion there was a call for a vote and the motion passed

Chance said he could get the required sheet metal for the doors for the storage shed. Greg made a motion to authorize Chance to do so and it passed.

Sal said the freezer was no longer working and we need to get a  replacement.

Greg talked about the need for a new grill. Sal made a motion  to purchase one . It was seconded and passed.

Mike Rowe talked about the need to secure the Radio Impound area.

Election of Officers:

Greg Nettles is stepping into the President’s position since Jude’s job requirements have forced him to resign. Thomas “KiWi” Sensat Sr. was announced as our new Vice President. Welcome aboard KiWi.
