Minutes of Larks Jan 2008 Meeting
The regular Larks business meeting was held Jan 13th, 2008. The meeting was called to order by President Jude Fontenot who then lead in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Treasurers Report
Mike Rowe gave the treasurers report of the club. He also informed the club he has taken on the task of revamping our website. Beginning immediately there should be some content out there and it will be growing as Mike can get it added. The web address is : www.larksrc.org . There was a motion to accept the treasurers report, it was seconded and it passed the club vote.
Minutes of Meeting

Club Maintenance
The parking structure addition looks nice. We plan to add electrical hook-ups later. Peter Wells will be parked at the end next to the pole.
New lights have bee purchased to install in the clubhouse.
Safety Report
Greg Nettles pointed out a recent incident where someone had a dead stick landing quite a ways down the runway. While retriving his plane someone else walked out and took off without looking in his direction. He said he screamed and motioned but couldn’t get there attention. ALWAYS LOOK DOWN THE RUNWAY TO BE SURE IT IS CLEAR BEFORE TAKING OFF !!
New Business
Election of Officers:
There has been a resignation by Jude Fontenot since the banquet. His job is going to prevent him from doing the great job he’s done in the past as President. Club by-laws will move Greg Nettles into the President’s position. So we need to have a vote for Vice President at our next meeting. Two candidates have stepped forward. They are Sonny Stokeld and Thomas "KeWe" Sensat Sr.
The current officers are :
