Minutes of Larks Jan 10, 2010 Meeting

The regular Larks business meeting was held Jan 10th, 2010. The meeting was called to order by President Erni Nettles who then lead in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Visitors

David Savoie of Carlyss – met the 2^nd meeting requirement for application to join LARKS and was voted in as a new member Jan 10^th 2010. Glad to have you aboard.

Minutes of Meeting

There was no meeting in Dec. Due to the holidays.

Treasurers Report

Mike Rowe presented the Nov. & Dec. 2009 show a positive cash flow for the year.

Motion was made to accept the treasury report by Mike Young 2^nd by George Miller.

Events

Mike Rowe asked the club to verify dates for our 2010 events ASAP.

The following dates was passed and aprroved by all members.

MAYDAY May (April 30^{th _} May 1st- 2^nd 2010)

WARBIRDS OVER LOUISIANA June (June 25th, 26th, 27th, 2010)

GULF COAST PATTERN CHAMPIONSHIP Oct (Oct. 2nd, 3rd,2010)

FALLFEST HELI FUNFLY Nov (Nov. 5th, 6th, 7th, 2010 )

Motion made by George Miller and 2nd, by Mike Young to accept the dates for our annual events. Passed by all members

Club Maintenance

Pat Moore reported that we are still having problems with vandilism, He will check into what is need to secure the property.

Heater needed a new plug put on it so it could opperate properly.

Motion was made to either replace the chairs or have them repaited by Pat Moore, 2nd, by Mike Young to have the the existing chairs restored by sanding and painting, Motion was passed.

Pat Moore, Kyle Moore, and Mike Young volunteered to renivate the chairs.

Old Business

The Raffle drawing was won by LISA HUNTER FROM LAKE CHARLES, LA had the lucky number. Congratulation

Motion was made by Mike Rowe to present her with the Plane and take pictures and have it put into the news paper. Motion 2nd, by Buck Owens. Motion was passed by all members.

New Business

Volunteers for all the club events were discused to make sure that we have an event manager, event CD, Public Relations, Food Director. People that volunteer at these events,
